Tuvieron que pasar muchos años antes de que los controles de las consolas fueran inalámbricos y los molestos cables quedaran en el olvido. Antes, curiosamente, lo que más deseaban los videojugadores eran cables largos que les permitieran alejarse del televisor; y en este aspecto ninguna consola le ganaba al NES. Sus cables eran ridículamente largos, tanto que le permitieron a la artista Erika Iris hacer esta serie llamada “Ghost in the machine” donde con los largos cables del control del Nintendo Entretainment system le permitieron crear a Goomba, Mario Bros, Link de The Legend of Zelda y Pacman. Simplemente asombroso.
